Bad football weekend 2

That was AWFUL!
The Seahawks game was horrendous throughout, but the Weaver run on 4th down and not kicking the field goal with 1:30 left are mystifying. What is Holmgren thinking these days? Alexander looks really bad too. Maybe they should not play him until he is healed. Run defense is also a disaster. They'll still make the playoffs, but they need to fix these things in a hurry.

I still like Willingham, but remember when we had Rick and always made the halftime and 4th quarter adjustments to beat the other team? The other teams are making the halftime adjustments and we're just getting smoked after the half. I hope this losing and sucking will stop soon.

On a positive note, Charlie Weis's plan to beat Boston College by buying all the khaki east of the Rockies did not work and ND is 1-6...even worse than UW.

Masser I've noticed that you have a bad record for making correct predictions. Let's see the M's were doing well til you said they could make it to the playoffs, ND was having a wonderful losing streak until your blog beating them down, and I don't even need to point out last weeks Husky and Seahawk predictions. May I suggest that you state the opposite of what you're feeling or just stop jinxing the teams I like.

That won't work - despite what predictions Masser puts on his blog, we know what he is really thinking.

But you are right - he did curse the Huskies. Many years ago, he made a pact with a higher power that he would be willing to have the Huskies lose if the M's could win the World Series. Then he tried to go back on his pact. Well, the Huskies have sucked ever since, the M's didn't win the World Series, and now we might lose the Sonics! And Masser is to blame for all of it!!!!

As for the decision to not kick the Field Goal, I think it was a good one. We needed a touchdown, a 2pt conversion, and a field goal just to tie. We were already inside the 20. Easier to get a TD from there and take your chances with a long field goal than the other way around. Plus, if the 2-point conversion fails, then we know to go for the 2nd TD instead of a FG. The run play though, was a very costly decision.

Sounds just like what happens at The PastTime in CR

FA'ASI'U TOESE

The government intends to file additional charges against a 20-year-old man from Tafuna who allegedly struck another man with a machete.

The defendant, Fa'asi'u Toese, is currently facing public peace disturbance, which is a misdemeanor. The incident allegedly occurred over the weekend in Fagaima.

Toese allegedly struck another man, who is in his 20s, with a machete after the two had an argument. Both the defendant and the victim were drinking on the night in question.

The victim suffered a deep cut on the left side of his neck and he underwent emergency surgery. The victim remains at the hospital in the Surgical Ward.

Toese told police that he was too drunk on the night in question and was angry because the victim's brother had stolen his clothes, according to the government's case.

Toese is being represented by Assistant Public Defender Ruth Risch while prosecuting the case for the government is Assistant Attorney General Aaron Masser.

Drop all charges! Everyone knows that you can't fault someone for what occurs while they're drunk!

I am in need of some FF advice. I have the Colts D and the Vikings D. Not sure who to start in week 7. Any suggestions?

The deal was not for the M's to win the World Series. The deal was to allow the Huskies to lose if the M's won the Yankees series. The M's were still down 2 games to 1 in the 5 game series in 95. The M's were up by 13 or something at halftime. It worked out ok.

I think this was beyond 1995. Maybe the 2001 season or something.
