It is sunny and hot again today. The "cool" stretch was nice, but I was ready for some sun today. Jogging in the sun and heat makes running's usual suckiness even more severe, even when you're running very slowly.
While running, I had some time to think, and I decided that I should put Nate's videos in here.
So, here's what happens when a guy who drank 10 torpedoes is trying to talk with a guy who drank 9 torpedoes. Justin was asleep and Nate woke him up when he was done with his 10 and was trying to tell him that he'd beaten his 9. Enjoy:
Then, Nate went outside and was trying to get into his truck. Weave took me to McDonalds to get breakfast for the drunkards; when I left, Nate was on his tailgate trying to get into the back of the truck. When we got back, he was still there. Then he was trying to tell Maximo something about someone juicing fruit and making jelly or something, try to descipher it yourself:
Today was mostly clear of stink.

That is so awesome. Justin looked pretty happy to be woken up there. I'm still coming down to take the title in 08.
That was hilarious. I couldn't even understand what they were saying. Wish that I could have participated!
Just what Am Sam needs, a crazy goat talking jibberish :)
Everyone needs a crazy goat talking gibberish. It is funny.
Hey, that's what the island needs! A heard of Goats to eat all the trash that litter the garbage-walk to Airport Beach!
Props to Shane for planting that seed.
I don't think goats like eating dead flip flops.
I have watched Nate's videos about 5 times now and I laugh every time. The jelly one is ridiculous. As Aaron pointed out, Nate almost has a claw.
I think Aaron made the right call on posting the videos.
Well that wouldn't work because this goat doesn't eat garbage, only cans and plastic sometimes. Luckily no one has had to deal with a drunk goat in a very very long time so they should be missing it and ready for the next onslaught.
Yeah I think that he did too. Meg, you are correct the jelly one is hilarious.
Masser,
Our calendar has been set for next year.
Spring Break is March 31 - April 4
So I will be on my way hopefully March 27 or 28 leaving around April 5 or 6. Get the Vailima ready.
Adrian, you in ???
I don't think that American Somoa is going to survive both Adrian and Shane.....it might implode or get pissed on.
Assuming the flight schedule stays the same you'll hafta do 3/27-4/6.
Chances are I'll be up for that.
What's the going rate for a flight to Am Sam?
It is an expensive flight. It is about $1200. It's conceivable that it could be cheaper, but I haven't really seen it. Hawaiian has a monopoly here, so they really stick it to you. It is possible that you might be able to get a cheaper flight to Apia in Western Samoa. A round trip from there is around 130 to here. If you come all the way out here, you'll want to go to Western Samoa anyway- there is some cool stuff there.
Nice videos. Next year it will be videos of drunk Adrian that we'll be blessed with.
And Hoz to answer your question about babies and sleep...it varies. Some will start to sleep through the night at around 6 weeks, and for others it may take up to a 2 years. That said most experts say that for the first 4 months you're just surviving, and after that you can try to implement things to make your child sleep through the night. This website has a good discussion on how you can help Cannon sleep longer than 3 hours. And if you have any other questions just let me know.
RE Babies - It's all about the swaddling. Once we found out how to do it right she'd go right to sleep. AWESOME! The Happiest Baby On the Block is the best book I've ever bought.
RE Running - It truly does suck. You need a bicycle or something my friend. That would be more fun and you could even ride it to work. But you'd need a girl bike with that manskirt action.
